Winner Announced: Giveaway Day One

Congratulations to entry #26, Andrea Wiltrakis- the winner of the first day of this week of package giveaways! You win the bow package pictured below, which includes a sampling of every bow style I currently make! I hope you enjoy them!

Many of the items I will be including in the giveaways this week are new colors or variations on styles because I wanted those of you who tend to accumulate my products (ha :)) to have something fun to possibly win! The items will be listed under the "New This Week" section, as well as in their respective sections of the shop (bows, etc) for those who didn't win but can't live without them. :)

Anniversary Week Giveaways: Day One- Bows

I'm so excited for the first day of my week of giveaways to celebrate the first year of My Little Pixies (which officially turns one on June 1). Each day's giveaway will feature a different section of my shop, and include items to celebrate where I've been, where I am today, and where I'm going in the future. 

Today's featured section is "Bows." This is totally fitting because that's how I got started- I began making bows for my girls when the person who made them for me went on maternity leave, and it just blossomed from there.

Today, one lucky winner will receive the set pictured above. It includes:

A pixie pink swiss dots "Carolyn" style bow (the very first bow style I learned to make!)

A pair of "Nora" bows in dark orchid and purple dots- a second style I started making because my younger daughter, Nora, just didn't look right in the bows that looked the same as her sister's! These bows are my favorites to make- which is why there are about a dozen pages of color options for this style!

A "Madeline" bow in a pattern of bright butterflies- a scaled up version of the "Nora" bow, made for bigger girls, or little girls who like bigger bows!

And one of the newest style of bows- the "Rachel" bow- in a super cute jumbo dots pattern in pink, blue, and green- goes great with all the tropical stuff out for the summer.

The "Rachel" bow also comes with an interchangeable nylon headband that connects well with the alligator clips I made all these bows with- so anyone can use this set, whether it's a new baby, a toddler, or a big girl. :) Those nylon headbands are wide, soft, and stretchy- they can fit a newborn, but still stretch comfortably to fit an older baby as well- up till about 6 to 9 months or longer. [if the person who wins this set needs a larger headband, I would be happy to switch it out for a standard elastic one]

So here's how the giveaway works. I will accept entries into the giveaway from 7am until 10pm EST. A 10PM, I will go through all my entries, assign each entry a number (for example, if you earn 2 entries to the contest, you might have entry numbers 1 and 2; the next person who enters and gets 3 entries would get numbers 3, 4, and 5)- then I will use random.org to select a winner and announce it both here on the blog and on Facebook. And tomorrow I'll post a new giveaway- tomorrow's featured section is "Carolyn's Collection and Felt Flowers."

There are several ways you can gain entries into my contest.


1. COMMENT, either on my blog, or on the album posted on Facebook (this is required so I can find you if you win); if you enter on the blog, please leave an email address.
2. SHARE- as usual, share on your Facebook profile about the event, tell your friends about My Little Pixies via Twitter, email, blogs, whatever. Because I'm doing a daily giveaway week and I don't want to be perceived by all your friends on Facebook as annoying, you can only get credit for sharing TWO times during the week- so choose carefully which days you want to share. :)
3. Take the leap and make a PURCHASE from my shop. Anyone who purchases during this week will receive an extra TWO entries into EVERY giveaway you enter for the rest of the week. Use the coupon code "anniversary" to save 10%. I have activated this coupon code on my Etsy site and on my own website- though the selection is much more comprehensive on http://www.mylittlepixies.com
4. REFER a friend to:
-Join my Facebook page: make sure they tell me you sent them! (1 extra entry for them, 1 extra entry for you)

The Details: Anniversary Week of Giveaways

So I'm sooo excited about this week coming up! I've been working through ideas in my head for awhile now, and I can't wait to share it all with you! :) Here's how the week will work.

Each morning, Monday through Friday, I will make a post here on my blog, and create an album on my Facebook page with the Giveaway of the Day. Because I'm all about commemorating things, each day will highlight a section of my shop, and the items given away will correspond to sharing where we've been in the past year, where we are today, and where we are going. Each giveaway will consist of several items, and the value of each giveaway will be considerably higher than what I typically do for weekly giveaways, so you won't want to miss them! All the giveaways will have "something for everyone," no matter what age the winner's child is! At least one of the items in each giveaway will include a headband for interchanging with clips, so don't worry if your baby doesn't have hair!

Here's the breakdown for what I'm planning:
-Monday: Bows- including a sampling of all the different bow styles I make
-Tuesday: Carolyn's Collection and felt flowers
-Wednesday: Posies- including both pixie posies and posh posies
-Thursday: Butterflies
-Friday: Fancy headbands

I will be doing a slightly different entry process than I typically do with several more ways to gain entries. Here are the ways you enter to win.

Monday Giveaways: Lace Flower Clip or Headband

Stay tuned for next week- it is the official one-year anniversary of My Little Pixies and I will be celebrating by doing a giveaway EVERY DAY Monday through Friday next week as a way of thanking many of you who have made this possible. :)

But for this week, I'm giving away one of the new things I've been working on over the past couple weeks. The lace flower is something I'd been meaning to try for awhile, but finally got around to doing it and just loved the results. In this week's giveaway, enter for a chance to win your choice of:

OR a lace flower clip. I made one for my daughter and it looks just darling on her ponytail!

Monday Giveaways: Daisy Clip or Headband- Your Choice!

This week's giveaway is for a perfect accessory for spring and summer! I was so delighted when I discovered these daisies, available in a wide variety of colors. The felt layers of the flower fluff up really cute and they are economical enough to have one in every color!

Sweet Jobee models a white daisy clip that her mom attached to an interchangeable elastic headband- so you can see that the clips are useful for everyone from babies on up. You can see that they are available in many different colors besides the classic daisy (including new colors that I'll be posting pictures of this week- white with pink centers, light yellow, orange with yellow centers, and black with white centers). You'll find these pretties in my shop under "Felt Flowers" and then select "Felt Daisies." I also list them under "Carolyn's Collection." 

 

  

Sometimes for little ones, you want a headband, because they look especially cute- these make awesome skinny headbands, and I love how they look on babies! If you prefer a wider headband for your daisy, just ask; I can easily do that, too. :)
