The Big 2000 Fan Giveaway- Inspiration and Instructions

So excited this week to present some of my favorite friends and crafters in a fun group giveaway in celebration of the great gift of 2000 fans on Facebook. :) Feels like a milestone to me; a reminder of the blessing that each of you are to me, though I will probably never meet the majority of you face to face! I feel so connected to you through these things I make. I share more of my heart with you than you might realize- on the other side of the screen is a totally real person (really, a complete dork who gets so excited about the smallest things!) who just can't get over the fact that there are people out there who actually like something that I made (pardon the mixed up pronouns...).

You are such an encouragement to me, just by your presence and your participation in this hobby-turned-business venture. This last year and a half has been in some ways a very difficult season for me personally due to a deep yet unfulfilled desire for more children, but My Little Pixies has been such a bright spot for me- especially because of how much I love connecting with clients, fans, and friends. I know that God blessed me with you, with this, as a way of showing me His love- and I hope I can share a little bit of that same love back with you, especially as we head into the wonderful Christmas season. :)

After almost 2 years in business, I have come to have such great respect for work-at-home-moms. It's more of a challenge than I realized, trying to juggle all the demands of so many different roles in life at the same time. Now that I have my own business, I feel so much more passionate about small business, shopping handmade, and buying things locally whenever possible. It's so fun to sense that real personal connection. I hope you enjoy "meeting" these people as much as I have.

Several wonderful vendors have agreed to participate this week in a group giveaway that I'm going to be hosting. This is how the giveaway will work. Each vendor has submitted a picture of the item or items that they are giving away, as well as links to their shops and to their Facebook pages. The idea of a giveaway like this is to expand our circle of "support" to include some really awesome other people. Participating in a giveaway like this really helped me to increase my Facebook following, and I know from experience how fun, and how valuable that can be! So, be kind to my friends! Join their pages- discover some cool stuff. :)

In order to "enter" for each vendor, you will have to do the following:
1. Click the Facebook link to the vendor's page and "Like" their page. If you want, tell them that you came from My Little Pixies.
2. Leave a comment, either here on the blog, or on the picture on my page, saying you want to enter for that vendor, with your email address so that I can provide it to the vendor if you win.
3. Shop at any of my vendors' shops this week and earn an extra 2 entries for the giveaway the vendor you shopped at is sponsoring. If you've purchased something from a particular vendor this week, leave it in the comments for that vendor's picture. Some of the vendors are offering discounts for shopping during the giveaway period, so watch for that. Might find some cut Christmas stuff!
4. Check back Friday morning, November 11, for winners to be posted (winners will be selected for each vendor via random.org).
