I'm a stay-at-home mom to two beautiful girls, Carolyn (4 1/2) and Nora (almost 2). About the time that we felt that God wanted me to step down from my part-time job as a pharmacist at a local retailer, the opportunity to start selling the things I've always loved making with my hands appeared. Ideas began to flow, ribbon and fabric started to pile up, and my "secret lab" in our basement became a refuge of creativity for me. It's a place where I have begun to learn to express myself as an artist, to allow what God has given me to flow through my hands and into the work I take so much pride in. In the summer of 2010, My Little Pixies, LLC, was born, named for my children (because we always joke that they are so tiny and pixie-like! Also, it's been a season of Tinkerbell and friends for my 4-year-old! :)). It's been a really fun time so far, and I look forward to using this blog as a way to connect with clients and friends around beautiful things!
